Well, I'm still in some pain, I get the drain out today, but I made it through. I think I still have some gas trapped and that is causing discomfort. I'm really tired and a little discouraged because I know some people just bounce right back. I just hope I am normal. Thanks for all your support. jacie

Hello Jacie. Welcome to the losers side. you are normal +. It is typical to still have some pain and discomfort the first few days out of surgery. It will get beetter and easier for you as the days go by. Don't get discouraged yet the everlasting rewards are soon to come. Best eishes for you in this journey. Kwheen

Hey Jacie - Glad to hear your doing OK ... I felt like I was run over by a Big Rig for 4 days after surgery, as bruised as I was I looked like it too!. Each day gets a little better, the more you move the better you feel actually. Take care and welcome to the losers bench! Janet

Hey Jacie, I'm 4 days out too. Feeling the same way but getting better every day. I think we're normal from all the posts I've read and talking to the 2 gals at my work that had the surgery 6 and 3 mths ago. What seems to be really normal is everyone being different. That's why I made the suggestion to my clinic about hooking up new folks with a sponsor if they dont' have any other support. This surgery seems to have so much variables. On day 2 I told my husband I would never have cosmetic surgery on my flabby arms....i know I'm going to need it...but today I'm so much better and so excited about this I have to keep myself from doing a jig. At least for a few more days. Jacie , you are a beautiful woman and you are going to be stunning! I hope you some plans for all that....ah hu...you are going to be weilding in the future....xxxooolinda

I think the first week or so are the hardest. I'm two weeks out, and it wasn't until after I started on full liquids (and thus more protein) did I start to feel somewhat normal. Just listen to your body and rest when it tells you to, and don't forget to SIP SIP SIP! Welcome to the losing side! Kix
