A Little help!!!

Ok i have to loose a total of 40 pound pre surgery . Since July 17th 2006 I have lost 32 pounds. It is sooooooo hard to get the last couple of pounds off . I would just like some help so I can get put on the surgery schedule. I guess I have been at it so long that now I'm feeling like this is just too hard. With that said any suggestions????

greetings jo! i'm sorry you are struggling with those last 8 lbs! you've done GREAT with the first 32! i didn't have to lose any weight pre-surgery, so unfortunately, i don't have any great advice for you. just wanted to say hi, hang in there, and congrats on your initial success! all the best! deb -268

Girl, you have lost 32 pounds in 44 days - that works out to .72 pounds per day. So I think you are making fantastic progress. Dig deep to find what it takes to stay the course. You can and will lose another 8 pounds, and keep it off before your surgery (I'm assuming your surgeon will require that). If you aren't walking to get some exercise, try adding that to your daily routine. You'll need to walk after your surgery, so if you start now you'll be ahead of the game. Keep track of what you're eating and work on eating healthy. Again, you'll have to make these changes after surgery, so why not start now? Lastly, drink, drink, drink. Water, that is. It'll help keep you full, keep those kidney flushed out and will keep you nicely hydrated. And again, you'll have to drink, drink, drink (or at least sip, sip, sip) after surgery, so start working on those new habits now. You can and will do this. Just put your nose to the grindstone and remind yourself that it will all be worth it. Tackle it one day at a time - everyone can manage for just one day... Hi Jo, I have been following weigh****chers and it is working I am now 356 when I first went to the weight loss clinic I was 362 they said I had to get back there well I am under that now so we will see what they say on Tuesday. Lots of water and fruits and veggies really help me fill up also soup. Annie
