Gym Is Open (Tuesday)

I did go to the gym last night and accomplish what I wrote I would do yesterday...yeah! This morning I did 45 minutes on the treadmill, then focused on abs and weight lifting for upper body. I was there 90 minutes. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

I walked ... and I've decided that I'm signing up for a water aerobics class starting Sept. 18th at the local Y . Janet

Janet, Water aerobics is a great place to start! And by Sept 18, you'll be 8 weeks out, which should clear you for that activity! Take it easy though. You are doing great! Lori

Hey Lori I am back on schedule now so I am walking 1 1/2 miles in the morning for now. I may try to do it again tonight but for some reason the treadmill bothers my knee. I prefer the elliptical but the hotel we are staying at dosen't have one. I figure atleast I am moving my body in the morning I will be successful. Lorraine

Lorraine, Every one is so different. I can't do the elliptical because it kills my knees. The treadmill doesn't! Do what you can...the main thing is consistency! Lori

HI Lori, Today I mowed the grass in the front and back yard. I walked 2 1/2 miles at the YMCA track. I did two miles on my gazelle. (((hugs))) Diana

Tuesday was the usual for me - 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer after work. I really to branch out into some other activities so I don't get burned out... Kellie

Kellie, My suggestion is to make an appt with a personal trainer. They will break you out of your rut. Hopefully, you can find one that you can just get 1 appt with or 3 appts with. Then it isn't so tough to afford. Good luck...but, the main thing is, you are moving!!! Good for you! Lori 384/236.5/199
