Scales....................
As of lately I have not been keeping up with my weight so good. So, I have finally decided to finally buy a scale for home. I really need to get in on these monday weigh ins with you guys. My question is, is there any one who can tell me where I can get one of those really good scales from? Just point me in the way and I am sure I will find it from there.
Thanks
Kwheen
Hey Kwheen,
They have the same scale I have at lowes. Its a weigh****cher scale. I dont know exactly how much they go up to but I have been using it since before my surgery so I know at least four hundred. My buddy Tanja sent me her's when she got skinnier lol... All the way from North Dakota lol..... Come on now girl! Get that scale so can join us on the Monday weigh in's. Welcome aboard!!

I finally decided to get weighed at home, but have the problem of weighing over 350 lbs. One solution I've read about in the past is to use 2 identical scales and add you weight on the 2 scales. Don't buy the electronic scales if you are going to use this method because they advise against standing on them if your weight exceeds their weight limit. Even if you have a scale that goes up to 330, if you weigh more than that, it's practically impossible to put both feet on 2 scales at the same time. THE SOLUTION: Use 2 old fashioned spring style scales. You can put more than their max weight support for a few seconds and still end up with a correct weight. Since most scales are accurate to within a couple lbs, you'll end up with a total accuracy within 5 lbs. Just weigh yourself at the same day, week, or month as you are advised to do. Oh, you might find that one half of your body weighs more than the other. This may be due to fluid retention in one side of your body. In my case, I have severe lymphedema in my right leg and my right leg weighs more that my left one. So, just add up the weight of both scales.
