I seen this on another board and they had over 50 responses!!! I thought it might be a good way to get everyone over here talking as well!!! Basically just say what you do .. whether it's in the home or out. If you're a mom or a grandmom or dad.... Hobbies too.... When I could work it always involved a phone and a computer. LOL Customer Service in a National Call Center.. I've also worked for Answering Service. (you'd be amazed at what ppl tell the answering service!!) Hobby-reading I guess. LOL

Well.. for the past year I have been a stay at home wife! I quit my job after my surgery. Before that I worked in a call center, we handled the prescriptions for hospices all over the country. Not the most fun job, but definately interesting and extremely rewarding. Since we dont have actual kids I cant say Im a stay at home "mom".. But I do have 2 hyper spoiled dogs that are worse then most kids! Atleast with kids they eventually go to school, dogs are always home!! Amber M*

I am blessed to be able to say that i have been a stay at home mom and wife for the last 6 years. Married almost 15 years and I love it . May be one day i will go back to the actual paycheck collecting work force but who knows. before kids I was an executive director for a children's center and I worked with profoundly retarded children. So I don't know what field I would like to go into next. My hobbies are cross stitching, reading and church. I do miss dancing though can't wait to go out and do that again that me, Jennifer 361 / 211 /175ish

greetings! i'm unmarried, zero kids, 2 dogs and 6 cats. have worked for the same large company for 28 years. my job entails supporting events, ranging from one of our executives speaking for an hour at a conference, to multi-day events. i'm usually the one behind the drape making sure pretty images are on the screens. i've been called the "queen of powerpoint"! job involves lots of traveling (which was a nightmare at 463 lbs!) now air travel is a dream! it's a job with lots of pressure, but i like it. i don't have a lot of time for hobbies, but i always have a book or two half-read. deb -268

Hi, I'm married to my best friend and have been for over 15 years. I have a 25 year old stepson and we have 2 Great Danes that are just the biggest babies in the world. I lease office space in a high rise building, I also run the Executive Suites, we lease space to smaller companies and provide a receptionist and 3 operators to answer the phones in their company name, making them of course look much bigger than they are. I love my job, and all the people I work with. Janet
