I'm a newbie

Hello everyone!! My name is Laurane, and I'm new to this site. I've been wanting this surgery for years, but it's just been 6 months or so that I've been seriously trying to get it. I would love to meet some of you that have had the surgery and who are currently in the process of having the surgery. I'm hoping for a surgery date in October/November...and I can't wait!!! I just posted my profile and some pics. This looks like an awesome support site and I'm so thankful that I found it! Laurane

Welcome to the best place on the web!!! This is one big, happy, friendly family so jump right in and stay awhile. The only hard part is keeping up with everyone's changing faces on here!!!! They have the surgery and before you know it you open a post and you're thinking "WHO IS THAT" and you read the name and it's so exciting to see you do know the person!!! I am happy you found us and hope to hear from you often!

Absolutely incredible website!! Very impressed! You have been through so much and I am saddened not only for the passing of your father but also the betrayl of your husband. As Dr. Phil says, the predicter of future behaviour is past behaviour so i hope you have a great counsellor who will guide you in the right direction. 'Sorry's' and 'forgive me's' is when you have spilt koolaid on your friends new rug, betrayl on the otherhand affects the 'trust' foundation of a relationship and can take along time to rebuild....if at all. I hope you realize you deserve nothing but the best and total respect from your partner. Nothing less.
