Mimi Wow!

While I was at Dr. Le Port's office I noticed my left hand felt strange. You know, that feeling you get when you know something is missing. I looked down and my Mother's Day ring was gone. It had just slipped right off of my finger! Thankfully, I found it under my chair! Wow! in all my life time of dieting that has never happened. It was quite a feeling. I'm still pre-op waiting to clear all the tests; however, I wanted to lose as much as I could before surgery--hopefully to make it safer. I've lost 38 lbs. since May. I know it may not sound like much compared to what comes off after surgery. But--it has been ten years since I've been able to do even this. With the prospect of WLS in my future it has given me hope to keep trying. Thank you for sharing my "little wow".

CONGRATS!!! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A SMALL LOSS!!!! EVERY OUNCE COUNTS AND EVERY TIME THE SCALE MOVES IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION IT'S CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION!!!! I am very happy you found your ring also!!
