What a wacky week!
I feel like I haven't been on here forever and I've missed everyone! I've been spending the past 1/2 hour catching up and it seems I've missed a lot with what has been an absolutely crazy week. I guess it was a good week since I got all my pre-ops done and I got a clean bill of health! Everything looked good, except for that little thing of being 200 lbs overweight
My main doctor was great, she checked me over very thoroughly, even checked my liver to see if she thought it was extraodinarily big and thought it was fine - Laproscopic here I come!
Then my car broke down and I had to spend way too much to get it fixed, so I had to rent a car to be able to make it to all my appointments. Between that and getting my house ready for after surgery and work being crazy, I'm a bit tired. I just can't believe surgery is only days away - no nerves at all, just excited!
Just wanted to say hi to everyone and give a bit of an update - I have a feeling I'll be here a whole lot more after surgery, I don't sit still very easily
My goodness, what a week! Cars are a necessary evil in Colorado, at least until we get light rail out in the 'burbs. I'm eager to start driving again, but it means buying a car and then dealing with all things car-related.
I spent my weekend before surgery cleaning out my closet and filing all the papers I've been throwing into a box for the last year.
I'm glad to hear your doctor says
and everything is ready to go for Wednesday. Two blinks, and it will be time to go to the hospital. Two more blinks, and you'll be home walking and sipping.
Are you taking sides in today's Big Game?
Hugs,
Kix
