Good morning to all.. Hope everyones weekend went well and enjoyed it. But now its the deaded Monday ugh... Lets hop on the scale this morning and see how good the week was to us... Beginning weight=397 surgery weight-386 last week-252 this week-250 Hugs Marge

I thought I had a good weekend, then I stepped on the scale this morning - ugh! Beginning weight - 356 surgery weight - 337 last week - 229 this week - 231 Oh well, back to the gym and the protein! Ya'll have a great day! Karen

Well, here's my numbers: Pre-surgery: 396 Day of Surgery: 386 Last Monday: 235.4 This Monday: 236.8 I had two wisdom teeth extracted on Friday (9/7) and have gained 5 pounds since then! I hope I'm just retaining fluids, because I sure haven't been able to eat much of anything... Good luck to everyone on sticking to the plan this week. Kellie

I had a great weekend, going for a walk this AM with a girlfriend. On normal diet, 8 weeks out, can eat anything, but I dont. Beginning weight-434 surgery weight-411 Current Weight- 387 (very happy to no longer be a 400lb woman) this week-47 Julie

I always enjoy reading this post.. Here is goes... Beginning weight 474 Surgery weight 417 Last week 265 This week 262 I am having trouble with losing weight in the lower part of my body, my hips are so disportioned..anyone else have this problem??? Thanks, Lynn

Lynn, Are you exercising? I tell ya, it really has slimmed down my very big butt, thighs and hips. It has taken awhile, but, has really worked! I actually fit in size 16 pants now. I started as a 32! Woohoo! Lori 384/235/199

Yes Lori, I am exercising, well I am walking 2 miles every evening. Can you suggest somethings I should do. I know you go to the gym, but that isn't available to me. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks, Lynn

I have lipedema...it is the abnormal accumalation of subcutaneous fat in the hips and thighs (and sometimes upper arms). I know, I know big words...but google it and see if what comes up sounds like what you are experiencing. It only occurs in woman. It states that women with lipedema who have WLS will typically lose the majority of their weight above the waist. I can wear a 14/16 top but only a size 26 jean. I also have lymphedema because of the excess weight the fat from the lipedema placed on my lymph nodes. Sarah Can weigh, just moved and haven't unpacked my scale....
