Two, two, two mints in one
I saw the doctor about the kidney stone lodged at the opening to my kidney. He wants to do the procedure were they break it up 
while I am off my 81 mg. aspirin in preperation for my follow through colonoscopy for my colitis. Sooo, I have the colonoscopy on Tuesday and the other procedure Wednesday. Tuesday I will be under light sedation and Wednesday under general anesthesia. I start my clear liquid diet on noon Monday (with bowel prep) and can't eat until after the test Tuesday afternoon. Then I can't eat after midnight on Tuesday for Wednesday's procedure. I may drop a little water weight, don't you think? 
It's a good things these things don't worry me and my DH's boss is good about time off for family stuff.
They found a two and half inch cancerous lymph node on my mom, but it is inoperable. She starts round six of chemo soon. She will have it once a week for a year this time. This is the conservative approach, because they say she can't handle anything more aggressive. Of course, I am condensing this very much. She has a very strong will to live. My dad is a rock.
Thanks for all the replies to my earlier e-mail. It is so nice and comforting to have all of you in cyberland that care so much.

You are having a rough week. I'm so sorry your mom is still having trouble with cancer... I'm sure that's the hardest thing on your list.
I'll be thinking of you next week when you have your procedures.
My youngest is here unexpectedly from GA, she has mononucleosis and needed her mom to take care of her for awhile. I LOVE that.
