OH conference here on O'ahu

I just got an email the other day about a conference here on the O'ahu! Anyone from the Mainland coming?? I really want to go but a little nervous about going. It's going to be held in Honolulu, Nov the 4th at the Sheraton Hotel and Resort Waikiki. Jamie

Jamie, I just called the airstation here to see if I could get a mac flight over to visit.. Yeah I can but they cant promise me when Id arrive, where Id end up, or how long Id be stuck on a layover!! Im just not willing to jump on a plane to go from here to where ever and then HOPE for a flight to the next stop!! Not my idea of fun!! But, when you come home Ill only be an hour away from you.. Then we will definately get together! Amber Ohh yeah.. DH flew out today! Mark the calender, check the skies for flying pigs! There was a military mistake and we ended up on the good end!! You know that just doenst happen, especially to us!! His flight was delayed by 36 hrs!! And he has the first flight home when they return!! Whoohoo!! Finally something went right!

Amber I can totally understand..thanks for tryin' though. My neighbors packed all their stuff up including their three little girls and trudged off to get a MAC flight two days in a row and never got it. They kept their bags packed just in case but it just didnt' happen for them. My mom always asks me to try to get one home but I'm like you I just can't deal with that not knowing where I'll be and all that. You just never know with those things. Definitely lets get together when I get my rear back on "solid" ground!! We had a nice day today it's been breezy and not sweltering. I have the downstairs windows open but the breeze is starting to fade so might have to close em up and opt for the window units. I can't wait to trash those babies...I NEED central air. I'm not as hot as I used to be (THANK GOODNESS) so I can turn off the window units and open the windows more! I want central air because you can't hear it and these window units stink. I don't care how much I take them apart and clean them...they just stink-a-roo. Take care talk to you soon, Jamie PS Any word on the plastics?? Jamie, you're trying to kill me, aren't you?! I love Hawaii, would love to go to the conference, and would love to meet you. There's just no way I can manage it quite yet. I'm not able to travel long distances for now. I do not love the Sheraton, though. I'd stay at the Ilikai. Lucky you live Hawaii (even though you'd rather be home in GA)! Kix
