Made a new choice

I have decided to pursue gastric bypass at another hospital in fact it is where I started looking into it a few years ago. I stopped looking into it because I had started the process somewhere else. Enough is enough and to tell you the truth I feel more at peace with my choice. DH is doing great so far not smoking in the house and I am working on quitting again. I am prepared to have my records sent the the new hospital once I recive the welcome packet. Also got my Wellbutrin refilled and just feel so much better knowing I do not need to keep fighting those people at Duke. Annie

Annie, Good luck! I am in the process now of quiting smoking and its killing me!! I wish I would have never started back up again! I hope that your DH can continue to help you with this as its going to take some support in order for you to get through it. Smoking is a horrible habit to kick! Good luck with your surgery. Hey Annie, Good for you... You have to feel what you do is right and if changing hospitals is that then so be it. Also on the smoking deal.. I dont smoke but tryed in my younger years just to fit in with all my friends. I was about the only one that didnt smoke. But it just wasnt nothing that did it for me. Go figure... So just eatting everything that wasnt good for ya and then some was my devil... But I know it is hard to stop and im glad your hubby is being supportive... Thanks Marge, You are very smart not to start this horrible habit. It is controlling almost everything you do during the day it is a hell of a habit. Maybe the one good thing I have going for me this time is the insulin I am on has a appitite suppresant and can cause nausea. Also have learned lots of good eatting ideas from weigh****chers Annie
