Sorry I never got a post in over the weekend. I was not home at all. I did, however, do the 5k Walk from Obesity on Saturday. I came in 5th place. Last time I did a 5 k I was one of the last 3 finishers. I was proud of that. This morning I did 45 minutes on the treadmill, then: SB Reverse Crunch 3 x 15 Stability Ball Weighted Oblique Crunch 3 x 10 each Stability Ball DB Chest Press 3 x 8 Stability Ball DB Pull Over 3 x 8 SB DB Fly 2 x 10 Lat Pull Down Wide Grip 2 x 10 Cable Biceps Curls 2 x 10 V Grip Cable Triceps Extension 2 x 10 What did you do to move your body today? Congrats on your excellent finish at the 5K! Was it well attended? I'm not sure what the turnout was here in Denver. I hope to be able to participate next year. I went to the theater on Saturday, so I did some extra walking at the performing arts complex. I also did a couple of short walks outside. I'm itching to increase my activity. At my next appt with my WL counselor, I'll see if he has any suggestions. Kix

Hi Kix, No the walk was not well attended. I think there was at most 40 people there. I am amazed that not that many WLS patients attend support group or attend any other events. Are they all just doing so much better than me that they don't think they need it? Your walking sounds good. By next year you probably will be ready for the "Walk From Obesity." I wanted to do it last year, but, chickened out. This year it was easy. Lori

On Monday, I did 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer. I think I've found my groove again - thank goodness! Kellie
