DH got his orders and I'm headed home!!!

Woo Hoo Georgia here I come!! I guess I'm moving my yard sale up a few weeks. We didn't to have the orders so quickly. I'm a little sad that my husband has to stay behind until March but we'll be able to save some money with me living at home. Any advice for a first time yard saler? I've gone to plenty but haven't thrown any myself. My neighbor decided she wanted to do it with me so that will make it easier...I hope! I have to see my surgeon on the 25th of this month for my 6 month check-up so I'll probably be home sometime around the 1st of Novemeber! I can't believe it's FINALLY happening. I know ya'll think I just despise Hawaii but I just want to be back on the Mainland! When you've been floating out here in the Pacific for three years you kinda get Island or Cabin Fever...you can't get anything on and you can't get off!! I would say YES come visit it's really nice but as far as living here....well to each his own! I hope I get a chance to meet some of you when I return! Jamie, Ohh Im so excited for you!! Your coming home!! And you will only be a couple hours from me!! You know that means atleast one visit, more then likely a few!! Who hoo Jamie!! Can you think of a better time to be back home than in the fall and the holidays coming and all. I feel sorry for you when it comes to your husband having to stay but like you said.... Helps money wise for now. Boy I wish I could see your families faces when you come strutting in there with that new look of yours... Just think.. You left and are coming back another person, mentally and physically.... Jamie: Congratulations on getting to go home soon! I didn't think things in the military happened that fast, but between your quick surgery and now your quick orders home, I'm obviously wrong about that! I don't think you hate Hawaii. I totally know what you mean about Island Fever -- when I lived there, there were times when all I wanted to do was to take a long drive somewhere, and driving around the island got pretty boring after awhile. Also, my family was all on the West Coast, which isn't a terribly long flight from Hawaii, so I could go see them fairly often without spending ten hours on an airplane first. Get busy, because the days will fly by and it will be time to leave before you realize it! Kix

Yep Kix usually with the Military it's hurry up and wait but things seem to be moving along swiftly. We have our pre and final inspections scheduled with the final being on Halloween so it looks like we'll be spending that night in a hotel. We're headed out now to make flight arrangements and I think we're going to try to get out on the 2nd of Nov. I still have to get dental records pulled, school records pulled and all of our medical records. Although I don't think they let us hand carry our medical records anymore but I'll see what they say. I definitely want to make sure I get all that straight. I also have to transfer my Tricare insurance and see about finding a new doc and nut in Georgia. I wonder will I have to see a gastric surgeon or just a regular doc? I hadn't even thought about that part...hmmm. Talk to you all soon..
