I am doing real good

I had my surgery 9/26 and came home that friday. My pain was very minumial and i amfeeling much better than I ever expected. I have been shopping 3 x I did drive a shopping cart but still to even get out!! I am working at getting all the fliuds and protein is hard right now. I go Wed to get me staples out. I just hope that my feeling good continues, it has been so much better than I expected I cannot believe it !! Pam

glad to hear your doing well. Getting your fluids in will get much easier, I am 10months out and still have trouble getting in my protein.. Enjoy the next few months, and watch the pounds just melt off. congrats, Lynn

Hi Pam, it sounds like you are doing great!! Good for you getting out and around. Do your best on fluids and protein. Just know that you won't be able to get it all in this soon out, do your best and you will do good! I too did great through surgery and out of surgery. I could not believe how good I felt. I got out of the hospital on Sunday and was out shopping on Tuesday and Wednesday! All day too! LOL But by about 4 pm i was starting to feel that I had had enough. Me and my mom shop alot. LOL I said mom, i think its time to go home. But recovery went really well and I felt great out early too and its only continued to be as wonderful!! Continued success and feeling good! Keep getting out and about. Good luck with everything!
