Gym Is Open (Thursday)

Do we still have any exercisers out there??? Lorraine is helping get the gym is open post done as my job is making it quite difficult for me to log in. If this helps, please let us know. I went to the gym last night for 45 minutes and just did the treadmill, but, it was a tough workout as I had it set at random (so the elevation kept changing) and I was going along at a fast clip for me at 4.0 mph. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hey Lori, Back on track and feeling fine. Going to do a few weight and my normal 60 min on the elliptical machine. I am thinking about adding 15 min of treadmill to since I know one of these days my body will get use to it. Lorraine

Lorraine, I would also like to encourage you to add in some strength training. As far as body shaping goes, it can't be beat! Plus, building up your muscle, gives you longer fat burning benefits...at least that is what my trainer tells me! Lori

I've been lazy about posting -- shame on me. I did a short walk today. I also resumed some of the leg strengthening exercises my PT taught me 3 yrs ago when my health was extremely poor. It feels good to be able to do some of them now that I'm a bit thinner! Please keep the gym open! Kix
