Only obese

When I started my journey I weighed 344 pounds making me super morbidly obese. Today I weighed a hair under 189. and am considered obese. I just figured I need to lose 25 pounds to be considered overweight. Sounds great! I only need to lose 9 pounds to weigh what I did on my wedding day. When I get there I will post of picture of me that day along with my husband Scot, the cutie. Oh to be that young again. No, not really. I wouldn't trade my life today for anything. Maybe I will have a 5 x 7 made of a picture Scot took of me all twinkly eyed in a royal blue long nightgown. I can't share that one. It's for the groom only. ;) Hugs, Loris

Hello Loris, I'm still in the dreaming stage waiting for a surgery date. I can only imagine what it will feel like just to drop one of the "super" morbid obese from my diagnosis! Keep up the good work and congratulations on your success. You are an inspiration.

Congratulations, Loris! Do you still have your wedding dress, and if so, does it still fit? I think sometimes I'd like to be 30 years younger again, but only if I have the maturity that I have now at age 48 11/12ths. If I weighed 180, I might consider walking naked through the grocery store. With all the baggy skin, it's not like anyone would see my naughty bits, anyway! Kix

My gown is all packed in a fancy box up under my bed. My DH actually wanted to give it to Goodwill! It will fit again soon. You are a hoot. Loris
