I did not make it to the gym this morning. I had one of those nights where I woke up in the middle of the night and stayed awake for 2 hours, then was dead to the world when the alarm went off. I have a festival board meeting tonight, so I guess this will be my day off from exercising. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

I did 15 mins on the elliptical and my usual round of weight training for my arms. I had planned on doing 2 miles on the treadmill too, but I wasn't feeling well and I only managed to do about 20 minutes... Karen

I still use a CPAP and supplemental oxygen, so when the power decided to go out this morning at 1 AM, the alarm on the oxygen concentrator shrieked loud enough to wake the dead and the CPAP was trying to suffocate me because all the air sucked out of it when it shut off! I had to crawl out of bed and hook myself up to the tank in the garage that I use to fill my portable container, and then wandered around the house off and on for an hour until the power came back on shortly after 2 AM. I felt like a bored ghost, wandering around the dark, dark house. My poor sibling had to get up and go to work at 6, so she didn't get much sleep at all. At least I was able to sleep in until 9. In addition to my pre-dawn stroll, I plan to do some more walking later today and some leg strenghtening exercises even though the weather is cold and gloomy today. Kix

Kix, I'm so glad you woke up! One of these days you'll be free of the CPAP machine, at least most WLS patients get to that point. The weather is cold and gloomy here too. Lori

Hi Lori, I did three miles on my gazelle. I also had a difficult night sleeping last night. I was thinking about work and about all the things I need to do at work for a big event we are having. Grrrrrr. I hope I sleep better tonight and you do as well. (((hugs))) Diana
