4 months out! Repost

Well, today is my four month mark and what an amazing 4 months it has been! I've lost 94 pounds, a little hair, 8 sizes, a lot of aches and pains, and my sleep apnea!!! I'm not sure I can verbalize what I've gained! Except for PEACE! I am no longer tortured by my weight, what I ate, what I can't eat, and the constant hunger that used to dominated my life. I thank God for the wisdom he gave to the physicains who invented and perfected this surgery! I thank God for this website and the great support get here! Thanks Everyone! Kate J

Congratulations Kate! You have done so well. Enjoy the absence of the hunger as, unfortunately, it does return after 9 months to a year. I fight it all the time. I've lost 150 lbs though and even though I'm not at goal, I'm determined not to gain them back...but, I hate the compulsion for food....oh how I hate it! Lori
