Gym Is Open (Friday)
I'm trying to get back on track - the past 3 weeks have been rough (work is just nuts) and I've been exhausted and not feeling my best. But today I woke up early and did my 30 minutes of aerobics - I'm hoping my stomach continues to cooperate with me.
Was anyone else this exhausted two months out from surgery? I feel like I should feel better now, but I just can't keep up with my schedule, and it's not even that busy! I REALLY want to feel better
Thanks Lori - I tend to get ahead of myself and push too hard (it's a family trait - my brother just had back fusion surgery and started back to work a month earlier than he should of - my sister-in-law just shakes her head at us
I can always use a reminder to slow down!
I'm already gung ho to join Curves, but my Dr. won't let me - he told me he might let someone else do it now, but I tend to go a little too full throttle and he was worried I would hurt myself. He is a wise man and knows me a little too well for such a short time
My sibling is off wor****il after the holiday, so we went to see "Happy Feet" today. This involved a bunch of walking from the car to the theater and back. (It's a good movie, the music alone is worth the price of admission).
I also had to go get my 3-month labs done, so this meant walking at the clinic, and I did some walking at the gas station because I decided I needed some lotto scratchers. Only won $2, though.
I thought I'd be working on a project for my niece this afternoon, but she's not ready to email it to me, so maybe I will do a bit more walking before the day is over.

Hi Lori!
Today I did 26 min on the treadmill, 20 on the elliptical and then started out on my legs, back and abs for weight training but I started having really bad pain in my abdomen after the ab machine and decided I couldn't finish my last 2 leg machines. I'm really hoping I don't have a hernia, because that's what it feels like.
