Did 15 quick laps around the track at the gym this morning, then did my strength training circuit 3 times through. Total work out time was 55 minutes. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Lori, My tummy is cramping up today. I took my multivitamin and didn't eat anything an now I am in pain. Oh when will it go away? I will never forget to eat again. Lorraine

I'm trying to get back on track - the past 3 weeks have been rough (work is just nuts) and I've been exhausted and not feeling my best. But today I woke up early and did my 30 minutes of aerobics - I'm hoping my stomach continues to cooperate with me. Was anyone else this exhausted two months out from surgery? I feel like I should feel better now, but I just can't keep up with my schedule, and it's not even that busy! I REALLY want to feel better

PJ, My exhaustion level was pretty high for the first 12 weeks. It does help if you pay special attention to your protein levels and make sure you are well hydrated. Adding in moderate exercise helps too. But, don't overdo it. I promise it gets better! Hugs, Lori

I woke up very early, and got on the treadmill, then came into work early before anyone else and did a few laps around the entire floor. Jan

Thanks Lori - I tend to get ahead of myself and push too hard (it's a family trait - my brother just had back fusion surgery and started back to work a month earlier than he should of - my sister-in-law just shakes her head at us I can always use a reminder to slow down! I'm already gung ho to join Curves, but my Dr. won't let me - he told me he might let someone else do it now, but I tend to go a little too full throttle and he was worried I would hurt myself. He is a wise man and knows me a little too well for such a short time

My sibling is off wor****il after the holiday, so we went to see "Happy Feet" today. This involved a bunch of walking from the car to the theater and back. (It's a good movie, the music alone is worth the price of admission). I also had to go get my 3-month labs done, so this meant walking at the clinic, and I did some walking at the gas station because I decided I needed some lotto scratchers. Only won $2, though. I thought I'd be working on a project for my niece this afternoon, but she's not ready to email it to me, so maybe I will do a bit more walking before the day is over. Kix

Hi Lori! Today I did 26 min on the treadmill, 20 on the elliptical and then started out on my legs, back and abs for weight training but I started having really bad pain in my abdomen after the ab machine and decided I couldn't finish my last 2 leg machines. I'm really hoping I don't have a hernia, because that's what it feels like. jacie
