Gym Is Open (Thursday and Friday)
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I did manage to get in a 3 mile walk in the morning. I was invited to Thanksgiving dinner with one of my workout buddies and her family. It was very nice. Yes, I ate too much...oh well, back to the gym today! I am going at 10 am as it is only open from 10 am to 2 pm. I will try and work off the pie I ate yesterday!
What have you done to move your body yesterday and today?

Yesterday morning, I did a 60 minute circuit training class. I did it early because I knew I'd bee too busy, too tired or too full to do it later.
Not sure what's on tap for today. Definitely some form of cardio and it's lower body training. I also need to work off all the snacks I had yesterday (quite a few chips, and cheetos... stupid snack table!!!). I ate so much garbage before dinner that I was too full to actually eat dinner with everyone else, so I just chatted while everyone else ate. I was finally able to get a few tablespoons of dinner down while everyone was working on dessert! Geez, I'm an idiot.
Glad you had a good holiday, Lori, and yes, I wish we could all meet up one day!
Hugs, Tracy
I really missed not having stuffing, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie this year. My sibling kept asking if I wanted a bite of her pie, but I declined. Why go there?
I had some dark meat, a small scoop of mashed potatoes, and gravy. My sibling cooks a pretty decent Thanksgiving meal, so I enjoyed it. Our family tradition is to eat the big meal around 1 PM, so we have plenty of time to digest before it's time to have sandwiches in the evening. I didn't have a sandwich, I just had another round of what I ate at the big meal. It sat well at 1 PM, but the second round at 7 PM had me making rude belching noises. I think I ate it too fast because it was so tasty.
I didn't do any exercises yesterday, but I did my 20 minutes of "sit and tone" this morning. We have the cold weather you punted over our way from Utah, so I don't know if I'll get outside for a short walk. If not, I'll do some leg strengthening exercises.

Something absolutely amazing: I did a 5K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day! I would have never even considered it pre-surgery. I didn't trot, just walked, but wasn't "tail-end Charlie" and did 3.2 miles in under an hour (just--57 minutes). And today I did a pilates/yoga combo class--oh, my tummy is gonna hurt tomorrow. But exercise feels so good--why do we sometimes let it slide???
