WHATS EVERYBODY DOING THIS WEEKEND?
Hello all,
Ya'll must be doing some serious shopping out there in O H land because the board has been all but dead. I done alot of damage last week so desided to skip the black Friday people out there. I get to ill at some of the crazy people and I start wanting to act like the woman off of fried green tomatoes where she starts ramming her car into the smart ^%$^%#@ women saying shes older and got more insurance lol... So maybe its best I stay home this weekend lol... I love the holidays so much though. It is starting to warm up here again. Gonna be in the high seventies again. So hard to get all hohoho with that going on. Ya'll with snow now dont hate us down here in the south for warmer weather. We are jelious of ya'll to lol... Im not doing a whole lot today. Just gonna lay back and do alot of nothing this weekend. Maybe clean some is all.Or maybe cook a pot of something. My grandson and granddaughter have a cough and fever some so there not gonna be over this weekend. We were gonna go see "deck the halls" with my grandson but guess thats out for now. So ya'll get on here now and tell everybody what ya'lls weekend consist of. I had a layed back very nice thanksgiving also. Everyone freaked out over the weightloss. There were some that hasnt seen me since I had WLS. So that was alot to take in. Compliments are still very hard to swollow at times... So yall let us know what this weekend brings to your part of the world today.
Hugs Marge
Hi Marge,
It has been quiet hasn't it? I noticed it the moment I logged in. I guess I've been one of those who has been absent lately - things are just a little too wacky for me!
I am definitely not a shopping kind of gal, so haven't done any of that. I've been at my folks place - I've been there the past week since my mom just had knee replacement surgery. My poor father's health is pretty bad and he was having a hard time taking care of her, so I left for their house early and spent the week cleaning and cooking. Let's just say that I'm exhausted
Although I was SO EXCITED that I could actually do everything that needed to be done... before surgery I couldn't stand more than 5 minutes, now I can actually clean a house and do a big Thanksgiving dinner! That is something to be thankful for !
I don't think I'm going to be doing much of anything but lay around and maybe do some laundry. My Christmas shopping is mostly done online or when no one is at the store
(I hate crowds!)
By the way, no snow here in Colorado - as a matter of fact it was 70 degrees Wednesday! Absolutely gorgeous! There may be snow this Wednesday, so you can envy us then
Hi Marge.
No shopping for me either this weekend. I am trying to save money for lots of things, including plastic surgery (it's going to take me a long time to save for all I'm gonna need!) so I decided to skip it! Today I started going through my closet to see if I can find some new clothes that fit and to get rid of some old ones!
