MONDAY WEIGH IN!
Hello all turkey leftover eatters out there,
Hope all the leftovers are gone and you had a great thanksgiving. I have to say that Tom Turkey never has been that good to me till this last week. I havent been able to eat chicken or turkey or beef that well but I did this week. Thank God! So the scale was pretty good to me. It picked a good week also to do so. Its my ten months out today!! So everyone get on the scale and lets #%^&^ or smile.... Either way...... Just numbers huh? Lol
Beginning weight-397
Surgery weight-386
Last week-225
This week-218
Who Hoo!! Made it to the teen's.
Hugs Marge
Here's my numbers for the week:
Beginning weight: 396
Surgery weight: 386
Last week: 226.1
This week: 227.1
I'm still going up and down in the same 4-5 pound range. Up a few pounds, down a few pounds, up a few pounds, down a few pounds. I know I'll eventually get over the "hump," but it's taking longer than usual this time. Oh well, I'll endeavor to persevere and eventually it will happen...

Hi Marge!
Start - 388
Surgery - 376
Last week - 313
This week - 312
I guess I shouldn't have been disappointed in my 5 pound loss last week! lol. I am starting to wonder if I am not eating enough. I never go over 1000 calories a day, which should be fine, but I am burning about 600 calories in my workouts, that's not including what I burn during the weight training. Maybe this is not enough? Or maybe I am just building muscle? Oh well. I always told myself I'm not going to be one of those people who gets upset when I don't lose. I have to remember this is just a part of it. I don't know what more I can do. I guess make real sure I keep up with my protein and water.

Jacie - First of all you should be commended on the great exercise regimine that you have going.
You are really working hard girl. I haven't had my surgery yet, but I recall from one of my many many bouts at Weigh****chers, my leader saying that if you use up too many of the calories that you consume and do not replace those calories with the amount of food your body really needs to function, it will hold on to every calorie you are eating because it thinks your body is starving. You might want to check with your dietician. You may not be getting enough and if your body had more fuel to work with it would make that time in the gym count even more on the scale. Just wondering
Karen
Hi Karen,
Thanks so much! That was exactly what I was wondering. I think I am going to try and e-mail my surgeon's nut. tomorrow. I am just so confused right now. I see such a range around OH regarding how many calories people are taking in, etc... I just want to make sure I am doing everything right!
Thanks again,
jacie
Wow, Marge! A 7 lb loss is impressive! And the teens, too!
I have terrible problems eating chicken, so I figured the turkey wouldn't sit well, either. Surprisingly, it did! My sibling makes delicious mashed potatoes, so I'm pretty sure I overindulged on those since they are nice and fluffy and go down smoothly, yum!
Thank God for me, the scale finally shifted in the right direction.
Beginning weight: 530
Surgery weight: 407
Last week: 345
This week: 342

This week-275 Total weight loss - 99lb gone forever!
I had a very surprising week this past week. I had my gall bladder removed on Tuesday, and gained 8 pounds! Not only did the pain medication make me very constipated, but I had no desire to eat.
It took a few days but I did loose those nasty 8 pounds, and I'm now 1 pound away from hitting 100 gone forever!
Thanksgiving was no big deal this year, my MIL fixed me some yummy soup and that's all I had.
