1yr & 6mo anniversary -210 Update on ME!!! LOL

Hi Everyone!!!! Well Thanksgiving Day was my anniversary, so I thought I would take this opportunity to update on me..................I still stop by everyday, I just don't post. I guess I'm just a "lurker" now. LOL This is the only board I read. Since my surgery I've lost 210 pounds, I am currently flex between 3-5 pounds gain/loss. It's all good though. In the begining I had so much weight to lose that I NEVER put a number on my loss. I see alot of posts that say "oh, I want to weigh..blah blah.".....I never did that. I just figured my body would stop when it was done. I am VERY HAPPY were I am at. When anyone would ask me "what is your goal weight," I would just tell them that I didn't have one, but I would love to go to Kohls and just buy a pair of regular jeans off the rack. I'm currently in a size 16 Levis down from a size 32 "stretch" "pants".....JEANS were NOT part of my language OR wardrobe at 426 pounds..........and my shirts are a size L from (NOTE I'M SCREAMING THIS HERE....) OLD NAVY........YES.........OLD NAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will have a tummy tuck done sometime.....and I know that I will be in a size 14 jeans at that time. But I am in no hurry.................I'm just enjoying every moment of my new life.. I've met the most AMAZING man EVER.........I could go on and on here, but, I don't want to make you girls jealous!!! LOL...........Wahhh, I don't want to share him!!!! hehe.....I will share this....I posted new pictures of my roses from him and pictures of me and him from Thanksgiving and this past Saturday. My friends at work say I am "glowing" in my new pictures with Bernie. Yes.....I'm in true LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE ....sigh. I still cry from happines, because I just can't believe how blessed I have been to have met Bernie, I finally feel my life is worth something. Congratulations! On both weight loss and new love. I know what you mean on a weight loss goal. I dream of getting under 200...but if I level out above, oh well. SHellie

Carmella, You have done so great! You are glowing!!!! Congratulations as well as being blessed with Bernie....I know you had some rough times going through your troubles with your husband. I guess "everything happens for a reason" is true. Congrats on being in a size 16. That is my size too, but, I'm still at 235...I guess my body is done, but, boy I wanted to be under 200...who knows, still might get there. I know I'm healthier and stronger than I've been in years and that is what is truly important. Hugs, Lori
