GYM IS OPEN (TUESDAY)!

I'm not sure if Lori is feeling well enough to open the gym today. Maybe she was snowed in -- Utah had a bunch of snow and bitter cold temperatures that are now heading over the Slope to us here in Colorado, oh boy! I think the high temperature tomorrow will be something obscene like 5 degrees, which is hard on this transplanted Californian! Anyway, the gym is open. My muscles are sore from all the aerobic housework I did yesterday. I still need to do my 20 minutes of "sit and tone," but I did do some stretches and leg strengthening exercises this morning. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

Hey hon! Good for you for keeping up with your "sit and tone" tape. I'm not looking forward to the storm either and I'm a native! I've noticed since I've been losing the weight that I can't tolerate cold like I did before - I'm cold all the time now! And none of my winter clothes fit anymore, so I'm walking around in short sleeve, thin shirts and summer skirts. I think a trip to the store is in order. I did my 30 minutes of aerobics today, and boy was I worn out after words. I didn't even pu**** my body just warmed up really quick and I was sweating buckets by the end. I then did 15 minutes of stretches (which I love to do) and that felt so good. I was a little tight from last week. All and all a good morning. Hey Lori, hope you are out there and feeling alright today - I've been sending good wishes your way - you've got to get well soon for your trip!

Hey Kix, Well I have been missing in action but I am back now. The holidays were tough time for eating for me but I made it through. I already went to the gym this morning and worked out on the elliptical trainer for 45 min I will be going again in the evening for round two of work out week. I have read that working out 8 times per week is very good for your body. To night I will be doing another 35 to 45 min on elliptical machine and heading home. Lorraine

Hi Kix! Today I did 20 min. on the treadmill, 30 on the elliptical and trained my legs, back and abs! jacie

Kix, Thanks for opening the gym. My head cold is now full blown. I stayed home from work in bed all day. I actually feel better now that it is nearly 4 PM. Hugs, Lori

I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 50 minutes on the circuit doing weight training. Today was the 1st workout with my daughter. She said is a "kick butt" workout. I'm glad we are enjoying this time together. Sandy 357/185/165

I did 35 minutes on the elliptical trainer after work yesterday. I hadn't been to the gym in 3 days and I felt really good after my workout. Am heading back today for more! Kellie

I went to the gym with a friend and we did a "Body jam" class, which is aerobic dance. After that, we stayed for a circuit training class.
