Good to hear you are doing better! Thank goodness you got it well ahead of leaving for your trip - plenty of time to recover! I took a few days off after my bus excursion - I was soooo sore that I didn't do anything until today (although I did do some shoveling Thursday - that did not help my sore muscles at all!) Today I finally mustered up the energy to do 30 minutes of aerobics, then 15 minutes of stretching. Boy did I need the stretching part, my muscles were not happy with me One good thing is I finally got permission to join Curves! I loved Curves when I went a few years ago and I can't wait to get started again. That will certainly help tone up some of my muscles!

PJ, I think joining Curves is a great idea! A nice non-judgmental place to get the workout you need. Lori

Sunday: 10 min. treadmill 30 min. elliptical 15 min. treadmill weight training legs, back and abs. I'm at a weird point in my workouts where my heart is more used to the exercise than my legs are, lol. I'm having a harder time getting my heart rate up as high as I want it, but I'm working as high a leve/incline that my legs can do at this point! Hope it's good enough. I'm burning about 600 calories on my cardio portion. jacie

Jacie, 600 calories is a whole lot. My max burning on cardio is usually 400. Have you looked at the heart rate chart to see where your fat burning heart rate is? You may be there. I think you are doing great. Lori

Saturday 1 hour on the elpitcal before the Christmas Parade. Sunday 30 minutes on the eliptical and 1 hour on weights thru the circuit. Also decorated the entire house and did some power shopping. That's also exercising in my book. Sandy 357/185/165
