Gym is Open (Thursday)
Lori has left the building! Here's hoping she has a great time in Sweden!
I had to go to my monthly WLS support group this morning, and we were running a bit late due to traffic. I had to sprint (well, as close to sprinting as one can get with a walker) from the car to the classroom. It felt good, and I didn't have a heart attack doing it, which I most certainly would have had at my highest weight.
I hope to do my 20 minutes of "sit and tone" later today, but my sibling is working from home today, so I may not be able to do so.
What did you do to move your body today?
Kix
Hey Kix,
Well I got up with the chickens this morning, my cat wouldn't even move so you know it was cold out side. I was in the gym by 5 am and out by 6:30am. I did the treadmill for 35 min and the elliptical for 35 min then I did my strength training and went home. I really enjoy going to the gym it's just hard getting up in the morning but I made it today I burned up about 804 calories before I even got to work. I am just excited about what this surgery had done for me. Well talk to you soon and have a great day.
Lorraine
Hiya, Kix - thanks for keeping the gym open while Lori is gallavanting around Sweden! On Thursday, I did 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer after work. I'm focusing on increasing the intensity of my workout, so it was a hard, sweaty 40 minutes, but I felt great when I was done.
Have a great weekend!
