Hi Kix, So sorry to hear about your aches...but the other side of the coin is that I am so happy for you that your surgery has been so successful! I never thought about quick weight loss as being the culprit for aches and pains but it makes sense. I hope you feel better real soon. We're starting at about the same point. When my BMI is 56 I'm going to do the happy dance! Until then...you do a couple of shuffles for me! We have a daughter in Denver and she just loves Colorado. They've been there about four years. She had a time adjusting to no Trader Jo's, too, but when she found Whole Foods that helped. We're considering a move from sunny socal...it was 76 today...at least we are taking an extended visit in the fall to see if our bones can tolerate the cold! Getting old, you know! Thank you for your kind words concerning my upcoming surgery. I'm ready to be amazed! Joy for the journey, Faith

Hey Faith, It is normal for you to feel very stressed out about the surgery. It will be over before you can blink an eye. And then hang on... What a ride I tell ya... I have to say I was more stressed out about all the hoop jumping with drs and tests than the actual surgery. By the time the surgery got there I was very calm. My family said they were in knots and I was so spooky calm. Lol go figure. It just let me know that I was doing the right thing and was very ready. Hugs Marge

Thanks for the "hugs" Marge. My biggest "hoop" so far has been scheduling appointments only to find once I was in the doctors office, costs paid, and be told that they couldn't accommodate someone "my" size. Now I had explained this when I booked the appointment. I was so embrassed; but, determined not to let that derail me. My surgeon's office began to schedule my appointments with doctors at their hospital and all has worked out so far. It's a long drive, but worth it for the lack of frustration. Now--about that L.A. traffic--that's a whole 'nother ball game!
