Ouch! Stuff hurts!

It seems as though I have more generalized body aches now that I'm losing weight. My lower back is always sore in the morning, and depending on how active I am during the day, other things hurt as well (joints, mostly). I'm certainly not suffering -- it's more of an annoyance. I figure it's because I am a bit more active now, plus the strain of (ugh) hanging fat flopping around. Am I insane? Well, probably, but I guess the better question to ask is whether or not anyone else has experienced similar stuff since WLS? Kix

Kix, I don't know how normal it is, but I had similar issues while losing the weight quickly. During a 200# weight loss, I went to the chiropractor after losing 110#, and again after 60# more. I was told that your body weight is shifting, and your back and belly muscles can get a little slack, and things get out of balance. Your're not the only one, Good luck, Doug

Hey kix, Girl, I dont know if its weight related but I have pings and pangs also from time to time. I know being (46) older has got to have something to do with it im sure.. Lol but my main pain is in the butt. No pun intended. When I go on long trips or just sit thru a ballgame my butt would give me a fit. And ill be the first to tell ya there is still plenty of padding back there lol... Its just heading south but not for the winter lol... So I guess ill take the lil pangs over all that extra weight I had. Its just the price I have to pay to be saggy lol... Hugs Marge
