Gym is Open (Monday)
Oh, it's Monday! I know how hard it is to get the week started. I haven't done my exercises yet, but I wanted to post early in case the rest of you have already been productive today.
I was able to replace my "sit and tone" video that committed suicide over the weekend, so I will resume that today. Sometimes, it doesn't feel like enough exercise, so perhaps I should do the exercise video twice, giving me 40 minutes' worth of workout. I'll have to consider that "down the road" a bit, I think if I tried to do 40 minutes right now, my head would snap off at the neck!
What did you do (or plan to do) to move your body today?
Kix
It's "lower body" day, so planning a step areobics class followed by lower body toning and ab work.
P.S. Kix, Is your tape called "sit and tone"? I'm looking for some good chair workout tapes for my mom. She's on dialysis and has very bad feet, knees, and shoulders but she wants to rev up the metabolism to lose some weight (she's about 240 pounds). I found a very old Richard simmons exercise tape for disabled people at goodwill that she likes but I wanted to look around for some others. any suggestions?
It's called "Sit Down and Tone Up" and it's by the woman who does the "Chair Dancing" series of exercise videos. Her name is Jodi Stolove. She has a bunch of different videos that allow people to exercise while seated -- you can see the list at chairdancing.com
I bought mine from Amazon.com, but I think they are readily available if you don't want to order from her site.
Good job on the lower body workout!
Kix
(wish I weighed 240!)
