Are you exercising? This could be part of the issue. But check with your doctor anyway. Good luck Lorraine

My sister has the same problem, and yet her potassium levels are always normal. I'm wondering if perhaps you don't need to up your fluid intake just a bit more -- the two typical causes of leg cramps are low potassium and not enough water. Let us know what your doctor says. I know my sister suffers greatly -- a couple of times, she even yelps in the middle of the night because the cramping is so painful. Kix

My massage therapist told me to try Zinc and it worked for me. Sandra A.

I"m so sorry to hear about your leg cramps. It happens to me when my calcium is low. Perhaps you will share with us after you see your doctor. Here's hoping you feel better real soon. Faith

My thanks to every one *****sponded. I went to the doctor on Friday and this what she is having me to do. Taking a quinine pill 1 hour before I go to bed. And up my water intake. If that doesn't work I might have to see a specialist .
