It feels so great to be back in the swing of things and going to the gym each morning. I loved my trip, but, missed the exercise. I didn't walk near as much as I do here. This morning, I did a very fast paced walk with 2 other women for 45 minutes around the track. We did nearly 3 miles, so we were booking! What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Great Lorraine...doesn't it feel good to be working out this hard during the holidays? The gym is nearly empty. I know it will fill up again after Jan 1. Lori

I agree Lori, it does feel great to get back into the swing of things! I've been MIA at the gym for the past two weeks b/c of gallbladder issues/surgery/recovery. But I started back Monday... probably a little over zealously too. I was so dizzy after my workout lastnight, I had to go to bed early. I feel better this morning. My routine consists of primarily cardio right now. 30 minutes on the elliptical at the weight loss setting and 30 minutes on the treadmill at the calorie burner setting, 3.8 mph. Tonight, I just plan on walking on the treadmill for a bit..taking it easy today but still want to stay active. April RNY 4/11/2006 366/221/anything below 200

Be careful April! Great to see your enthusiasm, but, make sure you heal properly! Hugs, Lori

I spent the morning knocking lots of snow off the trees and the edges of the roof with a long piece of pipe. My shoulders certainly got a workout! It was difficult walking in the deep snow, but I didn't fall. The snow was so deep, I didn't need my walker, either, it just sort of held me in place. Kix

I went and did my strength work out--it seemed to go really fast. I didn't realize until almost bedtime that I didn't do the lateral ab and back work out. How weird is that; to just forget the part I hate the most??

Linda, I do this from time to time, especially because I go to the gym at 5 am and sometimes never really wake up! Good for you for exercising though! Lori
