Marge, your order of Christmas snow is ready, come and get it! We have more than enough to go around! The snow just keeps falling, and so far we have 32 inches of snow in our area. The snow comes up to the bottom of the curbside mailbox, and the dogs (particularly our doxie) are not amused that they step off the back door landing into an enormous pile of snow. You'd pretty much need a dogsled to get around our part of town today. Even then, I think the sled dogs might just tell you to forget it, it's too much work! The airport is closed until tomorrow afternoon, which caused great consternation at our household. Fortunately, my sibling was able to change her flight and will leave for California on Xmas Eve, guaranteeing both of us a happy holiday. This storm has her so that I will breathe a big sigh of relief when she finally gets on the plane. Kix

People are finally beginning to dig out over here - we got about 32 inches as well. Unfortunately the place I live at is horrible about plowing, (they plowed last night and left 5 feet of snow piled up behind my car!) so I imagine I will be stuck in my little parking space, under 3 feet of snow, until Christmas! Either that or I will be shoveling all day tomorrow - ugh. Some of my neighbors are young and crazy and decided to do a little "swimming" in the snow. I was outside shoveling when they come barreling out their door in their swim trunks and bikini! And nothing is shoveled, so they had to walk through 3 feet of snow to get to the parking lot. Then they started running around with their shovels, helping out those who were trying to dig out their cars. They only lasted about 10 minutes and went running back to their place. It was hilarious, everyone was taking pictures of them (which I imagine will show up on the news tonight). Ah, to be young again

Hi Kix, My daughter sent us pics of the white wonder. Her very large Great Dane was up to her shoulders in snow as she peeked perplexingly around a tree in their back yard! Brrrrrrrrrr! Stay warm and safe, Faith

Hey Kix, Dang it!! Dont rub it in. Its like seventy degrees here and just is nine o'clock. Ugh. Price we pay I guess.....Lol you could feel sorry for me and at least send me a slushy lol.... Yall better be careful there and dont be on the roads if dont have to. But im sure I dont have to tell you that one. Yall are used to it im sure with snow. Around here they even close the schools down if ice gets on the roads from rain. Lol so amagine what that would be like here with weather like yours lol.. There'd be alot of ****ry people running around freakin out!!! Stay warm and make sure you have all your protein goodies so dont have to get out... Santa better bring a shovel huh? Hugs Marge
