Gym Is Open (Friday)

Have you post op guys been eating too much this holiday season??? I have...thank goodness I exercise! This morning I did 40 minutes of 3 times through the circuit for strength training and 30 minutes on the treadmill. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hey Lori, Well today was a little different I kinda over did it on the weights yesterday so I am only going to do them 3 days per week. So are you ready drum roll please..... I did 5 miles on the elliptical it took what seemed like forever but when i was finish I felt on top of the world. This time last year i couldn't have done that but i did to day 5.1 miles to be exact i burned 1022 calories and the scale is on the move again. I am so happy today I don't know what to do. Tomorrow is weight training an of course the elliptical I will make it 5 days this week. Lorraine

Lorraine, 3 days a week of weight training is great, with a total of 5 days at the gym! You are doing so well!!! 5 miles on the elliptical ! Woohoo! Lori

I spent most of the morning shoveling out my car - then helping others shovel out - then shoveling out at work. I am so sore I can barely move, but I got lots of exercise! I think I would be happy if we didn't get another one of these storms for a very long time - not only am I sore, but I have been going a bit stir crazy! I was SO HAPPY to get out of the house today!

I don't blame you PJ...I'm just so happy I made it home from Sweden in time to miss the giant mess they are having at all of the airports due to the Denver close down! Lori
