hi teresa: sounds as though you're doing very, very well. keep forcing the fluids, it seems to be a problem for alot of us, though my own personal issues lie elsewhere. i know what you mean about getting back to work, too. i'm hoping to return by jan 2nd. as for pureed food - i loved soft scrambled egg, mashed potatoes, sf pudding cups, sf popsicles, and sf applesauce. i know lots of people blend and puree in the kitchen but i just chose foods i could eat as is. kudos on the success thus far. keep up the great work. hugs dorthe

Fat free refried beans! I love them and still eat them even now. In fact, I have some in the fridge now. Wishing you all the best, hugs, Tracy. P.S. 30 pounds sounds amazing!

I made this the other day and it was great! I boiled two chicken legs, removed the meat, threw in a box of chicken rice a roni with the flavor packet and boiled the heck out of it. Everything was very mushy and tasteful. I wish I had thought about it when I was newly post op. Hugs, Janie

Teresa, I got into making some excellent homemade soups. Almost any soup recipe will do, you just put it in the blender and puree it. My favorites were a yogurt tomato soup, a black bean soup and a chicken mushroom soup. Enjoy this time of not being able to eat. I wi**** lasted!!! But, do drink your water!!!! Hugs, Lori
