Gym Is Open (Friday)

I stayed in bed and missed my 5 am gym appt, so I have my clothes with me and am committed to going to the gym right after work!!!! What have you done to move your body today? Lori

I don't know how you get up at 5am everyday! I am not a morning person at all and 6am seems extreme to me! Luckily for me, my work is great about being flexible and I don't have to get in until 10am (of course that was before we kept getting blizzards every week and work keeps shutting down! We have closed down 5 days due to these storms - it's crazy.) I, of course, have been shoveling all night and morning - decided to do it every couple of hours to save my back. Then I did 45 minutes of aerobics (I added another song and can't believe I can do 45 minutes now!) and my 15 minutes of stretching. It felt good, since I haven't really worked out since Sunday. My muscles were a little tight. Have fun working out tonight!

I'm not really a morning person either. But, I find if I don't get it done early, it is hard to get it done at all.... Good on you for being back at it...sorry to hear you are getting so much more snow! Lori

I walked a over a mile today on the treadmill, for 30 minuets and 2674 steps. Yahoo!! two years ago I was using a walker. Yahh me

The plan is 45 minutes of cardio (interval) followed by lower body toning (no abs).
