Hi guys! Yesterday, I went to the gym and did a very tough workout that a trainer I had worked with gave me last spring. It really kicked my butt. I hate to admit it, but, I think it shows that I've actually lost some fitness. I've been working out most days with these women. Although, I find it quite enjoyable, I don't think we work out as hard as I do on my own...Well, I'm turning over a new leaf. Today, I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes of tough upper body strength training and some abs. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hey Lori, I notice that when I workout with others it is spent on conversation and not exercise. I have to push myself all the time and it is easier if I am alone. There is this one lady that comes in to the gym and she will stop her workout to talk. I just look at her an keep going because if I stop that is more time I will have to spend working out than normal. Do your own thing thats what I say just do your own thing. Today I did 125 cruches 66 min on elliptical and of course my weights. Lorraine

I was back at the pool this morning! I hr. of aqua fit for me. I may try and get to the gym later today as well. We didn't swim yesterday, but went out with friends to play mini golf and get out for the evening.

I'm still on home IV, so it kind of limits the exercise I can do, but I keep taking short walks around the house. I noticed this morning that I can sit up in bed and grab my feet at the arches without it being a strain. Does that count as stretching? Seriously, I yearn for more exercise. I can't even do short walks outside because the snow just keeps showing up. Just when we get things melted enough, another storm pops in (uninvited and unwelcome!). I could do my housecleaning chores, but I don't want to. Maybe tomorrow! Kix

Hey Lori, maybe your muscles are just a bit tired. We all have our days when we cannot do as much as we normally can do. Doesn't mean you've lost any fitness.
