Still around
I am still a lady in waiting but I think my surgery will happen soon.
I stopped posting a few months ago because I was feeling like I would never get to where some of you are now.
I have not given up and will not give up.
I changed hospitals after many mistakes and not feeling like I was getting the best care.
So for the past 4 months I have been doing the paper chase having everything sent to my pcp and the hospital I changed too.
I was told by the nurse that all the paper work looked good and she would send it to the insurance.
I am scheduled for Febuary 19th to meet with the bariatric team.
Other than that I am sticking to my weigh****chers drinking lots of crystal light and feeling pretty good physically.
I am not working out like I was I just got so fed up waiting and struggling I stopped.
Belive it or not I was a gym rat at one point but I really had to push myself.
I am still working most every weekend doing demo's at Target and enjoy meeting other people and getting out on the weekends.
So I will let everyone know what happens on the 19th.
Annie
Thanks Marge for your kind words.
I am a determined lady and I know I get it from my mom.
My mom has had many bad falls as she has gotten older but I have seen her rally each time.
I love Target too especially when I buy 3x clothing and they fit.
I love buying clothes at a store other than Lane Byant LOL.
ANNIE
Annie, good for you! I'm glad you didn't give up.
I had to fight my HMO for over a year before I finally was able to move forward with surgery. I'm glad I fought for myself, I'm always good at advocating for other people, but tend to give up when it comes to fighting my own battles.
Keep up the good work, and we're here for you.
