Excited! Prayers, Etc. Needed!

I was originally scheduled for a PS consult in late March, but the plastic surgeon's office called and moved up my consult to next Tuesday afternoon. I'm excited and hopeful. I want the surgeon to agree to remove the enormous blob of skin (it's the size of a volleyball, made out of "adipose tissue" and skin) on the back of my thigh that keeps getting cellulitis. My PCP (and others) think that removing this area will eliminate the infections because the skin won't tear and pull from the blob's extra weight. I hope something can be done. I can't enjoy my weight loss because I am always thinking about my leg. Prayers, chanting, good thoughts, swinging chickens, whatever your belief structure, if you'll send good vibes my way for Tuesday, I'd sure appreciate it a lot. Kix

Hey kix, That is awesome news for real!! You better let us know as soon as your butt gets back home.... You will feel so much better and maybe the worrying about the infections will go away also.
