Hello from a night owl... Im sitting here and am so misserable. I cannot sleep at night and don't get it... I get up at butt crack as it is and no nap for sure and still can't sleep at night. I dont do caffeine except the one cup in the morning..??? I have been so busy even getting the rest of the house back in order from laying the flooring till you would think that would even help sleeping from being so tired but no....The only meds I take is 20 mg of paxil (panic attacks) a day and have taken that for a very long time so cant see how that would even effect sleep. I am 46 so dont know if its the all mighty menopause kicking in and I just dont know it or what. Heck, Ill take some good ole fashioned hot flashes over no sleep... I was already used to sweating like a pig from being so large and not walking without sweating lol... Just wondered if any of yall had every had a problem with sleeping. I am so not the type to take meds for sleeping so I know thats out. You just can get me to take paxil.... Have tryed going without that and that was a sure nono there.... Ok now, as my daughter says lol... Would you like some FRENCH CRIES with your WHIN lol.... Hugs Marge...> WANTING

Marge: I can empathize with you. I started to take Ambien a few years ago. It is a Godsent. However, being 51 I also am pre-or just plain menopausal. I still wake up in the middle of the night. I just get up and read or straighten something up and then go back to sleep until I have to get up for work. I found that when I stopped worring about not getting enough sleep, I would just fall asleep when my body was ready. I hope this helps. Have you asked the doc if maybe the Paxil is having any effect on your sleeping. I have a niece who gets hyper on any drugs that make everyone else sleep. Good luck and when you do good dreams. "OK, losers, get your cracks out of the sack!" KROQ-FM, Los Angeles, 1982. Maybe you're over-tired from all the work you're doing laying the floor. (And just how dang big is your house, anyway? You've been laying that floor for weeks now! ) Now that I'm back on oral antibiotics (to try and keep the cellulitis quiet), I have to stay up later at night than I was accustomed to, so my sleep patterns are temporarily out of whack. I've had trouble falling asleep the past few nights, but it will pass. What I do when I can't sleep is just say to myself, "Time to sleep" over and over again until I conk out. Kix
