Gym Is Open (Monday)
I went to the clinic for my WLS support group meeting this morning. I have a new rollating walker (it's bright red with fancy wheels), so I'm able to walk at a better pace now that I don't have to pick up the walker up with every step.
I had some time to kill after class, so I walked from the pharmacy to the lab and back a bunch of times, and then I walked up and down the ramp from the front door to the parking lot. It felt good, and if my knees weren't killing me, I could do some more exercise later.

Since I'm still on limited activity, I took a 1 1/2 mile walk with the dog and my daughter around the block. This was the most physical activity that I've done since surgery, and it tired me out.
Up till now, I had just been walking the dog a bit in our complex. It felt really good to get out and move. Only a couple of more weeks until I go back to the doc, and I hope that I'm released then!
