You work for 900 physicians?  I think I'd rather eat ground glass!    Well, that's not fair.  I have worked with some excellent doctors in public health -- along with some real doozies! I'm with you, I think he was almost too cautious.  I told him I appreciated his candor, and he said he had to be truthful because his practice isn't fee-for-service.  Bottom line is, I don't care if he's a d**k as long as he does a good job.  I was lucky in that my WLS was an excellent surgeon and had a sense of humor very much like mine. Hi, Julie: Are you getting hammered with the snow that'****ting other parts of the Northeast?  We had snow the past few days, but we are in for a warm trend soon. I think you're right about the surgeon.  Once he talks to the anesthesiologist, I think his tune will turn a bit more positive.  When I had WLS, my surgeon thought I might end up in ICU overnight because of my sleep apnea, but I woke up right away and had no problems at all.
