Gym Is Open (Wednesday)
I did a lot of walking yesterday, probably the most walking I have done in years. This new walker really helps me walk at a more normal clip. I had to go from one building to another while I was at the clinic yesterday, and instead of calling for wheelchair transport, I just trotted on over to the other building and back for my PS appointment. I only required two very brief rest periods. I wish my knees didn't get so sore when I walked, although I will say they aren't as sore today. Progress!
It's positively arctic outside today, so I won't do any exercise-type walking until later -- we're going to see "King Lear" at the Denver Performing Arts Center. I hope they threw some ice melt on the sidewalk, since I couldn't find any tiny tire chains for my walker.
