JEEZ, WHEN WILL I LEARN ???

I JUST GOT THRU EATTING AND THOUGHT I HAD REALLY DONE SOMETHING GREAT!! I HAD BOUGHT A TWENTY POUND TURKEY AFTER CHRISTMAS TIME AND HAD IT IN THE FREEZER. WELL I DEFROSTED IT ALL WEEK IN THE FRIDGE AND THIS MORNING I CUT IT UP LIKE A CHICKEN AND TOOK EVEN ALL THE SKIN OFF OF IT. I GAVE SOME TO MY DAUGHTER TO TAKE HOME TO COOK SINCE ITS JUST ME AND LEON,... WELL I COOKED IT FOR SUPPER TONIGHT AND I . WHEN WILL I EVER LEARN THAT MEAT JUST DOESNT DO IT MOST OF THE TIME UGH... I SLOW COOKED IT IN THE OVEN AND IT WAS EVEN TENDER BUT SOMETHING ABOUT MEAT AND THE OLE STOMACH JUST DONT GET ALONG. SO NOW IM SITTING HERE IN PAIN AND AINT GONNA TRY IT AGAIN FOR A LONG TIME.... AT FIRST IT WAS FINE OR SO I THOUGHT. DIDNT EVEN EAT THAT MUCH....MADE SURE IT WAS THE DARK MEAT EVEN AND I AINT EVEN CRAZY ABOUT DARK MEAT...GONNA TAKE IT AND FREEZE IT FOR LEON I GUESS FOR DIFFERENT DINNERS. I WONDER IF ILL EVER BE ABLE TO EAT THINGS LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN>>>DOES CERTAIN THINGS DO YALL LIKE THAT>?GETTING OFF NOW TO GOAGAIN... OH THE PAIN UGH.. HUGS MARGE

There are certian foods that I can eat Marge and after the second time of getting sick i don't mess with them at all. i don't like to be sick. I was sick Sunday night after i made my family a wonderful Chinese dinner I made lumpia and I only ate one you have to fry them in oil. I was so sick later on that night I don't and can't say. I though I was pregant and even went an bought a TEST just to make sure. So No more fried foods for me I tell ya.  Well i hope you feel better.  Lorraine

I ate shrimp for lunch today and after only two shrimp, I had to stop because it felt like one of them lodged in my aorta.    I couldn't figure out why I was suffering, and then I remembered I didn't wait long enough after drinking Crystal Light -- I ate about five minutes later.  I'm not one of the "lucky" ones who can  up the offending food, so I eat a bunch of papaya pils and pray for things to shift.  It did about a half-hour later. I think I will have split pea soup for dinner. Kix

Oh, I'm so sorry Marge! I'm a turkey nut and can't imagine seeing a beautiful turkey and not being able to eat it. I've been pretty fortunate with food - nothing makes me sick. I've tried just about everything except steak and it all sits real well. Which is kind of nice because I HATE throwing up - my willpower alone might be helping me in avoiding that situation! I'm also pretty sure that I could eat sugar just fine, but won't even go there. Too tempting! Hope you feel better soon hon, take care of yourself!

Yep  there are certain foods that make me sick everytime. Corn dogs, I get a craven for one and they make me sick everytime. and diary cream ice cream. I am lucky that meats dont bother me too bad. Sometimes if I get a tough steak, I know not to eat it. Cause it will get stuck. Cant eat much steak no how. dry meats dont go down well.  Have you tried the papay enezemes   maybe they will help. Everyone swears by it. I  have never had to use them myself.
