Hi everyone I just got home from the doctor who is going to do my surgery. I am closer than I have been in two years  fighting just to get to surgery. I am so glad I changed hospitals and doctors I know 100% I did the right thing. Today was a very good meeting and felt more personal than it did when I first started looking into gastric bypass. Me and another lady were brought into a room and shown a video about gastric bypass. Then the doctor talked to us seperate about are medical charts. The doctor also took his time to explain everything about WLS. Belive it or not I understand the whole thing better than I ever did. So now it is just a matter of a few days when I go see the top surgeon after that I will get a date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best part about today was I have not gained any weight in fact I have lost OMG. I weighed in at 360 so when I tell you that is a much better weight than I was when I was over 600 plus lbs. I have lost almost 300 with diet and excersize and then it stopped and that is why I am going for gastric bypass. I have come a long way but I havent finished my journey yet.

Wow Annie!!! I was just thinkin' bout you gf!!! I'm sorry that I haven't got back with you.  I lost my e-mail addresses when I was monkeying around with the ole puter.   So glad you were able to take the big leap and change doctors/surgery programs.  You sound so happy and confident with your decision!!!  Your weight-loss thus far has been incredible!!! Just imagine how well you will do after wls.  Were you able to find out more info about the mini-gastric bypass??? Does your insurance cover it???  May your surgery date be here soon.  I am still busy polishing up my angel wings  and halo down here in Arizona.  Waiting to here the latest.  Take care cutie Hugs,  Ginger

I have thought of you often.
It really looks like I am on my way to the loosers side of life I just cant belive it.
I will never understand why some health places make people intrested in the surgery jump through so many hoops.
I am glad I did not give up trying to get there even tho it would have been so easy to throw in the towel
I will let you know and the whole world when I get a date.
After that I will be a basket case for sure scared to death but excited too LOL.

Hi Marge, Thanks for your kind words and praise I will need all I can get as the time gets closer. I have a picture of myself that was taken in 1998 it is a picture of me when I was over 600lbs I want to start working on making a web page and uploading some pictures to it but I am not sure where to start doing that in OH any help would be great. I hate the picture but at the same time I look at it and remember how it  was then and how difficult it was just to move.                                                                               Annie
