Tummy Yuckies-Gross

I am almost 17 month post op and have lost 190 lbs.  Lately everything that goes down comes out a few minutes later.  I am not throwing up, it is the other end.  I get rumbles in the tummy region, then I have to run.  After months, and months, and months, and months of constipation, I am at the other extreme.  While I am glad to no longer be constantly clogged, it is a bit difficult going out because I have to know where every bathroom is wherever we go.  Dh says that it is probably some sort of adjustment that my body is making, I only hope it jumpstarts me off the plateau I have been on since September.  Sorry to rant. Hugs, Janie

Hi Janie,  I wish that was my problem I seem to be at the other end for me :). Hope things get better, and the scale let just shoot it. Lorraine

Hi Janie,  Just wondering if this is something new or it's been happening for awhile?  I was sick for 5 days last week with an intestinal bug, my Dr said to let it run it's course. My 5 year old niece says "It's like throwing up out your butt"! Hope your feeling better soon and get this gets figured out.

I feel for ya, I had that problem before surgery. I remember going camping and having that happen and boy was that unpleasant! It still happens every now and then but for me it's due to food allergies. It can be such a pain! It sounds like it happens to you every time you eat, but if it's not necessarily every time you might want to check for food allergies - I had to document all my food for a month and then track when I had the problem and sure enough, it was due to what I was eating. And I didn't even develop these allergies until I was in my mid-thirties. Hope it gets better for you soon, I know what a pain it can be! Pam
