Can We Say Holy Moly Batman!!!!!!

Just under an hour ago the nurse from my surgeons office called and asked to speak with me and I said this is April, she says Hi April this is Debbie from Dr Birkitts office, I said Hi Debbie how are you and she says Im in a state of shock actually, and of course this has me worried as all get out because I haven't even got any of the test done yet that he requested so I was like here we go he has decided to not do my surgery or something. So I asked in a calm voice (lol) Why??? and she says I just got your insurance approval for surgery and I haven't really sent them anything yet. It is good through september!!!!! So she said to gt those tests done ASAP!!! And I said I would call my PCP as soon as i hung up the phone. I hung up and started yelling for my mom who was in her bedroom vacuuming. She thought something had happened to me because I wasn't feeling well and I yelled I GOT APPROVED!!!!! And she said Huh?? for what?? because we thought at the earliest he would ask for approval was August lol...I said for my wls!!!!...I swear I cried and laughed and cried and called my best friend in the whole wide world my sister Gail. She was excited as I am. Now I am just in shock I think and not sure what to think. But all I got to say is after 7 LONG years of trying PRAISE BE TO GOD IN HEAVEN ABOVE FOR GRANTING ME THIS OPPORTUNITY TO REGAIN MY LIFE!!! AND PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS AND HOPE EVERYTHING TEST WISE COMES BACK GOOD!!! i love all my OH family and Thank you so much for being there for me!!!

Thank You all so much for the posts!!! I am still all hyper about it...worried, yes...scared, yes.....so happy I could pop, OH YEAH!!!....LOL...called my PCP he doesn't have any openings before my appointment I already had scheduled for the 14th of March sooooo sigh...but I did leave a message for his nurse to call me back to see if she can go ahead and get me scheduled for some of the tests....Hugs and Love to all!!!!
