Amazing Wow moment for me

When I started this journey less than 8 months ago I was wearing a size 34 both in tops and jeans. Fast forward to yesterday, at work I was constantly pulling my pants up, I thought for sure I had grabbed the wrong pair that morning, but when I got home I saw that they were the 20's I've been wearing. I went to the closet and pulled out the 18's I had bought and much to my surprise they fit perfectly! I was dancing and crying and laughing and I'm sure my hubby thought I was nuts, but he stood there grinning at me. He's never known me this size I was wearing 22/24's when we met 19 years ago, so for me this was a HUGE Wow moment! I went on-line last night and placed an order for size 16 slacks ... size 16???  OMG!!!! It still amazes me when someone asks how much weight I've lost and I can now say 140 lbs. in less than 8 months, Wow, wow, wow!!!! Thanks for listening!

HEY JANDELL,               WHEN I FIRST BEGAN MY JOURNEY ON HERE I WOULD GET ON AND SEE SO MANY WOW MOMENTS AND THINK... Thank you so much Marge, I'm still on cloud 9 today!!  One of the girls at work told me she liked my new shirt and that it looked small, then she quickly added I don't mean too small, just that your getting small.  I wanted to kiss her!!!

What a great moment for you! I tell you, being able to fit into my old clothes has been huge motivation for me - I fit into a pair of pants from college this weekend and was jumping around all over the place too! And then  you add in that you can actually jump around (which would of killed me before losing the weight) then you've got yourself a great WOW moment! I am so excited for you - congrats!

Thanks for the laugh about jumping around, but your so right I can do it now without hurting myself! I didn't have any clothes before I had WLS that were much smaller than what I was wearing, so all my clothes now are new, and I'm loving shopping! Thank again!

From a 34 to an 18!  WTG!  That's quite an accomplishment!  Better place an order for a sexy bikini, too! Kix
