Went to the physical therapy appt about my flare up of "tennis elbow".  He told me to stop the upper body strength training for now and let it heal!  He gave me some exercises to do to lightly work the muscles.  This has been a painful thing.  Already had it for a couple of months, was wondering if I wasn't letting it heal properly with my workouts...duh! Anyway, I did 30 minutes walking the track today at the gym and 21 minutes on the recumbant bike.  I'm walking to meet someone for lunch now, it is about a 1 mile round trip.  It is raining lightly, but, I am still looking forward to it. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hey Lori,  Well today started off pretty well I jumped out of bed ran to the scale as usual and was suprised the scale said 315.6 I was like oh my God the scale moved it really moved. I then got ready to go to the gym and i was still happy by the way just because the scale moved. I did my workout with more passion than ever becasue that scale moved. Well usually when i get home I drop another 1 to 2 pounds because of all the sweating not today it went back up to 16.2. I think I am going to leave the scale alone for awhile it has issues. I have 2 scales by the way my other scale says I am 305 and the one at the gym says i am 285 I think I want that scale :). Did my workout and felt good 1 hour on the elliptical and then home I went. I had to leave the weights alone for a little while I keep hurting myself and I don't like pain. I hope you feel better soon.  Lorraine

Lori, Sorry to hear about your elbow.  I hope that it heals soon!  Ouch those hurt!  I would think that ice and heat alternated would probably help it to feel better also. I was back at the pool today, but before I went, I weighed, and I was down to 309, which put my BMI under 50!  That was a big deal to me!  I hope to be out of the little stall, and be to the point of the weight falling off!  I know that it all takes time, but I was thinking that each day I'd be down a pound or two, and that there wasn't stalls with WLS.  Of course, when I was having surgery, I also had a secret hope to wake up skinny! Hope you all have a great day! Blessings,
Jennie

Lori, high five for doing the bike - that thing is like a torture rack for me.  I can't stand that or the elliptical.  Anyway, hope you enjoyed your walk and that your elbow feels better! I walked the stairs at work for 25 minutes.  I may do a little something else after I get home from school tonight - if I'm not too tired.

Well, I have actualy given that some thought.  I decided to put some new pics in my profile at my two year anniversary in May since the most recent ones posted were at my one year anniversary.  I know I need to get a new "face" pic done - it's just one of those things I never seem to get around to.  I will though... eventually. Hey, give me some credit... I did get my preop pics and one year pics up in my profile after vowing for eight months to get it done.

I had the same elbow thing, took a couple of months of therapy to clear up. Boy, did it hurt! I had a really good workout today - did 35 on the elliptical and 20 on the cycle and I was drenched by the end of it! I did the interval training on the elliptical and boy did that do it! I love that my workouts are moving up and I can tell a big difference in my buttock and legs (I thought I would go with the official word for butt today :-) ) I've got support group tonight and a physical trainer is coming to speak, so I'm excited to talk with her and see what she thinks of my exercise regime.
