It has been awhile since I have posted.  I just want to share my good news, and that is I go March 20 for my consult with the plastic surgeon in St.Louis.. Our insurance will pay for everything, I did all my homework before hand so that I don't die from heart failure in case of rejection.  I am really happy that, I am finally to the point that I can procede with the next phase of my life. Seems like for the most part everyone is doing so well. I am so glad to hear that.  Well I am off to walk, take care and God bless... and if anyone can share with me information on any plastic surgery experiences please do so. Susan

Susan, That is fantastic!  What insurance do you have?  Anything you had to show them to get them to approve? Lori

Hey Lori- We have BC/BS of Flordia.. What they needed to know was is this surgery related to the weight loss and is it necessary... Well heck yes..I am fortunate because we had a stipulation anyways regarding the wls itself, and the aftermath. So I will fill everyone in as it progresses. How are you doing? With work and all I hardly have time to sit and pee.. Susan

Susan, I'm doing pretty well.  I seem to have stuck at about 240 lbs, with a total weight loss of 150.  I really wanted to get at least to 199 before I did surgery.  But, it has been many months since I've lost any weight at all.  But, I'm not giving up.  I am saving money for the surgery and continuing to work on it. I'm very happy for you!  I think I may be able to justify my surgery as all the extra skin on the front of me is causing me lots of back problems.  My back is no longer fat at all so I have nothing to balance me out! Susan, I forgot to mention that the Discovery Health Channel has total body lift procedures shown on it very often.  Looks scary, but, the patients are so happy with their results.  Have you seen that? Lori
